B. C. is a proud member of HWA - The Horror Writers Association. She is a co-chair of the New England Horror Writers - a branch of HWA, and served as a co-chair of StokerCon 2025.

Author Mya loses her parents in a tragic accident and resolves her subsequent writers block by inadvertently selling her soul to a demon. The stories Mya "creates" as she deteriorates may also foreshadow a coming apocalypse.
